 THE BURSAR VS THE VC AND THE INVISIBLE HANDS PART 2: THE COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION HAS FOUND BURSAR GUILTY.

For many people in the University of Calabar, the name Peter Agi is an bad omen. The mere mention of the word "bursar" in Unical brings an image of a ghoulish figure adorned with a Dracula-like attire of pigtail suits, sharp glistening teeth dripping with blood. Such a fearful figure must be rejected and subjected to the worst form of punishment.

Many people who have not had one on one encounters have also built their own figurine of thSir own dreaded bursar (Dracula).

It is very sad that we have been bought over by the propaganda in the University of Calabar. The public display of a painted image by those who do everything to undermine accountability, excellence, and hardwork.

I may be wrong, but I have decided not to follow the queue of public opinion. And I will not keep quiet in the face of illegality and gang up against Peter Agi & his family. Albeit because of a possible power tussle, political underground interest, and ultimately, the protection of graft and conspiracies against one man (The Bursar).

It is true that Peter Agi is a pompous, arrogant, high headed, power drunk monster. But it is not true that he has demonstrated inefficiency, and he has not conspired to protect graft in Unical. Rather, he was sworn in with a promise to fight graft, no matter who stands on his way.

Could it be that those who feels threatened are beginning to team up to fight this individual that has had the wits to challenge their activities in the University?

In this article, my intention is to answer certain questions that were raised by my followers. Thanks to the police in Calabar that has done a thorough investigation and most evidence I have now are all verified.

DID PETER AGI GIVE HIS WIFE 4 MILLION NAIRA SCHOLARSHIP?

A lot of people in Unical believe that Peter Agi (Bursar Unical) gave his wife 4 Million Naira scholarship to study abroad. Those who are championing this allegations are bent on tainted not only the image of Peter Agi but that of his wife too.

The truth of the matter is that Peter Agi (Bursar Unical) has never given any scholarship to his wife. In fact, the young woman in question will not qualify for any scholarship by reason of the fact that her two children (a girl & a boy) were born in the USA.

Without any doubt, Mrs Agi is not a staff of the University and the University cannot offer her scholarship. But Mrs Agi is a member of Unical Women Association. As a member of this association, she was invited by application written by Mrs Ntunkae Winnie Zana Akpagu (wife of Prof Zana-VC Unical) to attend a "Campus Technology Conference" in Philadelphia USA.

The training was organized by "Training Guide International." Participants other than Mrs Agi included: Mrs Francis Iwanyanwu who is the wife of the Pro-Chancellor, Mrs Ntunkae Winnie Zana Akpagu, and last but not the least, Mrs Helen Ogar, Personal Assistant to wife of the VC.

Mrs Helen Ogar as a matter of fact is not married to a staff of the University. And there is no provisions for anyone to carry along a PA. However, the exact cost to attend this conference and back is N3,111,690.00.

According to my investigation, Mrs Ntunkae Winnie Zana Akpagu did not attend this conference after she has been mobilized to do so. Her PA Mrs Helen Ogar who also benefited from this bounty did not attend the conference after receiving the full disbursement of the said amount in her account.

DID MRS SARAH AGI ATTEND THE CONFERENCE?

Mrs Sarah Agi did not attend the meeting too. According to an application written by Peter Agi (Bursar), Agi stated the reason why his wife will not attend such a meeting. The congent reason is that Mrs Sarah Agi was doing exclusive breast feeding for her a youngest child (Boy) for which she cannot leave in Nigeria while away in the USA. Since the conference did not provide that she travel with a PA.

Additionally, Mrs Agi has also booked for another conference in October so she could utilize the monies that were disbursed to her. Whether she has the right to book herself for another conference at her convenience is what I do not know. But from all indications, the VC Zana approved her request.

In what way(s) did Peter Agi do wrong?
