I'll cry one more time for Mr Buhari and his EFCC to leave Patience 'Mama Peace' Jonathan alone and focus on other more important things.
You see, Jonathan is our defacto leader here in the south whilst Tinubu might be the political leader of the west, both men are respected by those they lead but whilst Tinubu's people respect him more(or less) out of fear, Jonathan's people respect him out of love.
That's why the south-south boils whenever there's as little as a rumour that Jonathan might be arrested or persecuted but it's still business as usual in the southwest when people read in the news about Tinubu's ongoing travails.
It's on this note that I'll like to caution this government against creating more tensions in this part of the country with Mama Peace's 'case'. Leave the innocent mega farmer alone.
So that tomorrow, militants won't go and carry out sympathy bombings of facilities that would cost the economy hundreds of millions of dollars only because of a 30 million dollar cock&bull tale.
And for the self righteous southerners especially those based in America and Europe that are reading this post and shaking their heads at my 'reasoning', keep shaking your heads and reasoning like Bill Clinton okay?
No northerner no matter how sophisticated and exposed he is, will openly call for the prosecution of an Indimi or an IBB even when there's gross evidence out there against them but we in the south will always betray and sacrifice ours on the altar of political correctness and sophistication.
I'm not saying it's the way to go but we should learn to love some of our own at least and not always throw them under the bus- if we continue this way, we'll never have leaders and the core-north will keep beating us in the game of politics. Because by successfully diving and ruling us-as has been the case for decades, they'll always conquer us.
