Miley Cyrus, 22, was the center of attention at the exclusive amfAR gala in NYC for many reasons. Not only did she attend the event with Tyler Ford, who she described on Twitter as a 24-year-old “queer, biracial, agender person,” but she showed that she hasn’t put a razor to her armpits in months. We love how Miley isn’t afraid to be who she is and doesn’t care what anyone thinks. Her nonconformist attitude is what makes us love Miley so much!
Miley has been sporting armpit hair for several months and we’re totally getting used to it. Just recently on May 1 she showed the world her pink armpit hair and pubic hair on Instagram!
Before the event Miley took to her Instagram to tell the world about her date: “Meet Tyler a 24 year old living in New York City, and my date for @amfar tonight!!! Tyler is a queer, biracial, agender person, whose pronouns are they/them/theirs … Tyler shares about their identity, experiences and hopes saying: ‘My whole life, I was led to believe that there were only two genders.
I thought I had to shrink myself to fit into a box that was never going to contain me.’It took years for me to find words for my gender identity, and to feel comfortable expressing myself as I am.”
