How to Acknowledge and Overcome your Body Confidence Issues

Believe it or not, every person you interact with today will probably be experiencing some kind of body insecurity. They may be ashamed of their height or they may even be uncomfortable with their weight. A lot of people feel as though they are not good enough, but what really matters is whether or not you let it ruin your life.

Admit that your Insecurities are Real

If you can’t admit that you are feeling a little bit insecure then you will never be able to deal with the issues you are facing. You need to write down a list of everything that makes you feel insecure, even if it doesn’t seem like a big deal. When you do this, you will then be able to deal with them and you can even analyse them in a completely different way as well.

Tell Others that you feel Insecure

The root of feeling insecure is feeling as though you are being judged by other people. The odds are that you are worried about what other people think of you, rather than what you think of yourself. If you want to move past this then you need to look to those who love you unconditionally. You also need to work past your insecurities as well. When you do talk to your friends and your family, ask them for their help and also ask them to encourage you when you are making your journey.

Focus on What You Love

Years ago, you might have hated your freckles. Now, you may love them! Your perception can change as time goes on and if you make yourself aware of this then it can really help you out. Focus on the things that you love and also think about what makes you unique. This will help you to boost your self-confidence and it will also help you to change your state of mind. If you can’t get over how much you hate certain aspects of yourself then a change may be required. For example, if you hate your voice then why not look into voice feminization?

Avoid Certain People in your Life

There really is nothing worse than having negative people around you. After all, there are some hurtful people in the world and you don’t want to give them the time of day. Be the bigger person and avoid spending too much time with the people who make you feel bad.

Validate Other People Rather than Just Yourself

It is so important that you treat other people how you want to be treated. Be that one person who is continually praising other people and work hard to try and uplift them as well. The more you do this, the more you will find that they give you the same treatment and this can work wonders for your self-confidence. Sure, this may be hard to begin with but when you get into the routine, you will find that it comes naturally, and this can really help you to come across as being more confident.
