Travelling to work, sitting on the same train, walking down the same path and riding the same bus gets old. Commutes are arguably the most boring part of anyone’s day. That is, of course, unless you know how to keep yourself entertained.

Be Productive
Not everyone wants to carry their work with them, but if you make regular journeys on a train and you carry around a laptop or a device that allows you get work done, then why not do so? If you can take your work outside of the office and finish it during your commutes, then there’s no harm in doing so and you can free up time that you would have otherwise spent in the office or at home.
You can also be productive by studying or learning something interesting instead of just falling asleep. For example, you could plug in some earphones and listen to a podcast that’s related to your hobbies, or listen to some study material.
Play Games
Anyone and everyone can play video games. It doesn’t matter how old you are or what you do as a profession, there’s nothing wrong with playing some video games to pass the time. If you want casual games, then try out something like Dots.
It’s relaxing, entertaining, and there’s no commitment meaning you can just stop whenever you like. If you want something more exciting to play, then click here for some more traditional gaming apps such as betting or casino games.

Listen to Music
With a cheap subscription to a service such as Spotify, you have unlimited access to thousands of music tracks including the latest releases. If you love music, then you’ll love how entertaining and quickly your commutes pass with the help of some tunes.
Even if you don’t want to pay for a subscription, most music services offer advertisement-supported plans for free. If you’d prefer not to use up your internet data, then you could always add music to your phone from your computer. That way your music won’t cut out every time you pass through a tunnel or go underground as well!
Read Something
Some people find it incredibly difficult to read while they’re in motion, but for others, it’s a way to transport yourself to another world through a great story and forget all the loud noises and the long journey that you have ahead of you.
If you bring a book with you, then take great care not to lose it or crush it in your bag. Ideally, you should have an eReader such as a Kindle. They’re lightweight, portable, and can store thousands of books on its memory. With a subscription to an eBook service, you can even get free books sent to your kindle every month for unlimited reading content.
Not only can you get fictional books, but non-fiction, biographies and even magazines are available in an eBook format.
