With the Formula One and MotoGP seasons well underway, you may have found yourself hungry for a little bit of racing flavor, of course getting in your car and booking a track day is pretty expensive, so instead we have come up with the best racing games your money can buy! That’s right; we are talking computer games.
First off, and probably the ultimate choice for all racing fans is the fantastic Forza Motorsport. Forza 6 was the latest full version of this game and after Ford Motor Company had allowed the creators, Turn 10 Studios, access to this year's Ford GT design team, the game released in late September 2015 for Xbox One.
It later appeared on Windows 10 as a full game called Forza Motorsport 6: Apex. There is only one other game that compares to this, and that is the Playstation’s GT6, both are incredible when it comes to the graphics and will give you a real life driving experience, allowing you to drive some of the world’s greatest cars.
If you are playing either on the Play Station or the Xbox One, then you may enjoy using the steering wheel and pedal set up over the usual controller. This gives you more in-car experience.

Of course, you can now race last years F1 season on the 2016 Formula 1 Xbox game. F1 2016 presents 21 tracks from the full 2016 season, the all new Azerbaijan circuit "Baku," and the entire roster of 11 teams and 22 drivers.
This could be splendid if you want to see Lewis Hamilton take the crown instead of Nico Rosberg! The game plays well although as it is the F1 game, you don’t get the same excitement you do when playing a multi-discipline experience such as the Forza game.
If bikes are more your thing then ‘Valentino Rossi The Game’ is a complete official MotoGP™ game ever & the only game featuring all the teams and riders of the 2016 Championship.
You get incredible graphics and more movability than you do with the car games, again it doesn’t give you the freedom of GT or Forza to choose a variety of cars, but that isn’t the point of this game. There are so many great racing games, and we shouldn’t ignore Mario Kart, which will give you a little adrenaline buzz from your sofa, but we think the best of the bunch is Forza for the Xbox and GT6 for the PlayStation.
You can buy both these games in store, online or you could find a second-hand version. It’s hard to believe than anyone could complete these games as they are so complex. However, there are plenty of people who have!
