An Associate Professor Caught Cheating In An Exams
The University of Jos has suspended an associate professor of law caught cheating during an examination on May 4.

Benedicta Dauda, a former HOD of Jurisprudence and International Law of the Faculty of Law was allegedly caught copying from a prepared answer during an examination for a Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Mrs Daudu was also suspended from the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption following the report.

"I can confirm to you that the Senate Disciplinary Committee found her guilty of the allegations, and has suspended her from the Masters programme for two semesters. Also, the matter was referred to the Staff Disciplinary Committee which also suspended her from work.

Executive Secretary of Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC) Bolaji Owasanye, said the professor would be allowed back to her post, after the matter is resolved. But until "then, she remains away from PACAC."

This is a bad example for the youths as Nigeria fights all sorts of corruption from all strata.
