The thieves who were arrested by a Vigilante Group in Abia State, confessed to stealing cables from more than 15 transformers in Aba since they started their operation in the city.
While being paraded round the city, the thieves however appealed to the state government and the Enugu Electric Distribution Company to forgive them, promising not to return to crime again if they were let to go.
