Four Robbers Shot Dead In Warri, Delta State

They were reportedly shot dead, yesterday, by the police, around the Ajamimogha area of Warri, after dispossessing a man of N126,000.


They had engaged the police patrol team from A’ Division, Warri, in a gun battle.

The gunmen however ran out of luck when one of the bullets from the patrol team hit the Volkswagen car, which they were escaping with, making it to lose control before it rammed into a pole.

One of the suspected armed robbers was one Ovie, who many say was known for kidnapping, rape and armed robbery in Warri. The gunmen were trailing another man who had just gone to collect money from the bank, when, the patrol team discreetly traced them until they opened fire on the police vehicle
