Manchester City are close to completing the signing of goalkeeper Claudio Bravo from Barcelona.
Pep Guardiola has been on the lookout for a new goalkeeper all summer to replace Joe Hart, who is set to leave the Etihad before the window closes.
Hart has been at City for a decade but now looks surplus to requirements and will consider his future away from the club upon the Chilean stopper's arrival.
A fee of around £22m has already been agreed with Barcelona for the 33-year-old Chilean.
However, Manchester City are confident the deal for Bravo will be wrapped up before the window closes and will be registered in time to play in the Champions League group stages
