CPC and CTR

Well I was thinking of writing about this for a very long time !!

CPC and CTR - The different aspects of it !!!

Many of you might have seen people getting CPC of like 0.5$ or even more. And many of you might have also seen people getting CTR of 5%+ with just the same simple placements as you do.

So why the difference ??

The main thing is, most of us just compare these 2 stats and start thinking of getting the same on our blogs. We completely ignore to compare the niches, keywords, categories etc.

I mostly use the same placements and theme on most of my sites !! and the stats I get are NOT THE SAME. On some sites I get only 1-2% CTR while on some I get over 5% with the same placement and themes. On some I get CPC of 0.05$ while on some I manage to get 0.3$.

So NEVER EVER COMPARE just the stats of others AdSense without checking out the other factors. For some sites, a CTR of 2% is also good.

Even my site **** has a very low CPC and CTR, even after the fact that our placements many times fools the users.

So don't get too much into it after seeing other people's stats !!
