Manchester Sir Alex Ferguson made a signing in 2003, which turned out to be an unstoppable phenomenon  today, and his name, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aviero, Mostly called CR7 by fans.



It is hard to believe, but today marks 12 years since Cristiano Ronaldo wore this jumper.
Manchester United shelled out £12.24m to take the 18-year-old to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon on 12 August 2003.

And Ronaldo marked the occasion in sensational fashion, with the most eye-catching jumper to be seen at Old Trafford since Peter Schmeichel was leaping for crosses.

The Portugal international was given the iconic no.7 shirt and Little did we know just how good Ronaldo's jumper would be.
