Pedro is on the verge of completing a move to Chelsea after Louis van Gaal and Manchester United ended their interest in the Barcelona winger.
The Daily Mail report that the Dutch coach has now dropped his interest in the Spaniard - despite executive Vice-Chairman Ed Woodward being in Barcelona to negotiate a deal.
Chelsea were said to have become interested in Pedro and were attempting to hijack a deal as Manchester United delayed while trying to agree a fee below his €30million (approx. £22m) release clause.

Spanish newspaper Marca state that Chelsea beat United to the winger with a €28million (approx. £20m) offer and add that Pedro will travel to London for a medical at some point on Wednesday.
Odds on Pedro joining the Blues have been slashed to 1/8, with Manchester United moving out to 5/1. None of the three clubs have yet commented officially on the news.
Spanish radio station RAC1 state that Pedro is already in London awaiting to seal a move. They also report that Jose Mourinho called the winger after the defeat to Manchester City, with Pedro saying his goodbyes to his Barcelona team-mates on Tuesday,
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes last night said the club could win the Champions League - if they added Pedro.
The move could accelerate Juan Cuadrado's exit from Stamford Bridge - the Colombian has been linked with a move to Juventus after six miserable months in west London.
