English Giants, Manchester
United have been heavily linked with Pedro and now reports have it
that Pedro has agreed personal terms with United. United
just need to match his £21.2m release clause in order to complete the
deal.
Ed Woodward, reportedly flew out to watch Barcelona’s
Spanish super cup second-leg on Monday in order to continue talks with
the La Liga champions.
“Ed Woodward, the Manchester United chief executive, has been in Barcelona today, speaking to the club and the word is that a deal will be done this week one way or another,” Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague told Revista de La Liga.
“I understand a deal between the player and United is already in place and all that is left is for United to put the €30m (£21.2m) on the table. They are just negotiating how they are going to pay it, with instalments or an amount up front.
