Manchester United have launched a £21.9m offer to bring the Lazio star and Brazilian
midfielder, Felipe Anderson to Old Trafford but the Serie A side are determined not to
lose their key man.
The
Red Devils have missed out on long-term targets Nicolas Otamendi and Pedro this summer. Manchester United
boss Louis van Gaal sees the attacking midfielder as a player who can
help the club challenge both domestically and abroad.
Anderson has a contract with the Stadio Olimpico club until 2020 and while the
Rome-based club do not want to sell their, who arrived from Santos
in 2013, United's bumper bid plus additional add-on incentives could
make it difficult for the Biancocelesti to turn down.
