How To Get a Site Ranked?

This is a very Important question bloggers and many other people want answered. I got this question asked a few times personally. (may be I would've been asked that question more times but, I'm not a pro-famous blogger so there's a limited number of bloggers who know me)

BACK TO THE TOPIC ON RANKING A SITE -

• To start off, get a few domains brainstormed related to the keyword you want to rank.
• Choose the best of them and then register it quickly before any other internet stranger registers it.

Then before building the site, go to the top 10 results on the SERP for the keyword you want to rank and get some inspiration, see how they've built it. And try to make yours better in design and more informative than theirs. Notice, get inspiration, "don't copy them".

After you have set up your site with healthy amount of pages, may be like 10-15 pages, include important pages like privacy policy, terms and conditions, about us, contact page etc. The next phase is building links to it.

When you start building links for it, just don't get crazy and just start making backlinks from random directories or crappy blogs that have their auto approve on, and have been spammed a gazillion times. rather focus on more quality links.

Don't make a huge pointless backlinks just for the sake of it. Make links that look more natural like:

• Guest posts on relevant pages, 
• Sponsored posts on niche relevant sites with huge link juice or
• By making your own private blog network (PBN) with high power domains.

 (Now don't say that you don't have so much money to do all sort of this stuff, because in order to make money, you need to spend money).

Even don't get crazy when making high quality natural links, make them look natural. Place yourself in place of Google bot and think if I'll make this quantity and quality of links will it look good or sort of spammy? If your mind gives you a red signal, then you need to think of a better idea to get more natural looking links.

NOW THE LAST AND MOST PRECIOUS PART - 

DON'T LOSE PATIENCE. Remember that by making a good content oriented site with good backlinks doesn't mean you own Google. It takes time to get a site ranked.

One more tip I'd like to give is -

When you want to rank a site, just try to rank that site only. Don't leave it unless it is ranked. Don't even make another site until that one is ranked. I've seen guys trying to rank 5 sites together, but end up ranking none.
Rather, think of doing good things for the site you want to rank, like:

• By adding more content to it
• By constantly updating it with Valuable informations users will like
• By improving its design and such sort of cool things.

And that's how you get your sites ranked.
