Diamond Bank Slammed N500million Law Suit By Abike Dabiri

The Former House of Representatives member Abike Dabiri-Erewa, earlier today slammed a N500million libel suit on Diamond Bank Plc for maliciously publishing her name as one of the bank’s debtors on Punch Newspaper which came out on Monday.


Before now, Mrs Erewa had mandated her lawyer to forward a letter to the bank for a retraction but after refusing to comply with her demands, she had no choice than to sue them.

Dabiri said as a well known politician the said publication has subjected her to public opprobrium, ridicule and embarrassment of monumental proportion.
