Robin Van Persie Turns Down Besiktas

Robin van Persie has turned the down the opportunity to join Besiktas as Manchester United are prepared to listen to offers for the striker this summer and the Turkish giants have targeted him as a replacement for Demba Ba, who has joined Shanghai Shenhua.
Besiktas were prepared to pay around £7million for the Dutchman and offer him a lucrative long-term contract . But Van Persie is reluctant to uproot his family and move to Turkey and will not consider any offer from the club.
