The Nigeria Football Federation yesterday has announced Stephen Keshi’s contract as head coach of the Super Eagles terminated.
The 53-year-old
who was re-appointed as the senior national team coach in April was
fired yesterday and is to be replaced in the interim by his assistant
Salisu Yusuf and the Technical Directorate of the NFF led by Amodu
Shuaibu.
Naturally, his dismissal generated much discussions and comments on Twitter.

Many mouths may wag but for the Glass House chiefs, it was one indiscretion too many. He may have (eventually) been forgiven for missing out on the
2015 AFCON, and also considering the victory against Chad may at least have given some
hope for a return to past glories, but it seems ultimately, the Ivorian scandal
has cost the BIG BOSS more than he bargain for.
