Photos: Thugs Barricade Ekiti MAJOR Roads

As moves to impeach the incumbent Governor of Ekiti State continues, major roads leading to the State capital, Ado-Ekiti have been barricaded by thugs, leaving hundreds of motorists stranded on the road.


Reports say thugs have blocked the ‎Olasore side, Efon alaye and the Ikere section of the Akure-Ado express road.which are major roads leading to the State capital. They have also threatened not to open the roads until 4pm today.

‎It is believed that the move was in response to Governor Ayo Fayose’s call for Ekiti people to take to the streets to save him from being impeached by State lawmakers following threats from the All Progressive Congress lawmakers to impeach him.
