Guy Went Through 23 Surgeries So He Could Look Exactly Like Superman

Herbert Chavez is a man obsessed with the Man of Steel.Chavez spent the last 18 years of his life trying to look just like Superman and his alter ego, Clark Kent.
The 37-year-old, who hails from the Philippines, had 23 surgeries in his quest to emulate the last son of Krypton.

Those surgeries include nose jobs, jaw realignment surgeries and skin whitening procedures over the years. He also sports blue contact lenses.

Most recently, Chavez tried to get surgery so he could have Superman’s abs of steel.

However, doctors refused to do the procedure because he previously injected his torso with an illegal and potentially poisonous product called MesoLipo.

Despite all this, Chavez, who has a Guinness World Record for largest Superman collection, doesn’t doubt any of his decisions.

He told the Daily Mail,

    I totally don’t have any regrets. What is there for me to regret? Everything that has happened in my life has been positive and because of Superman. When my body says it can not endure it anymore or when my doctor says that my body can not handle it because of age, then I will stop.

 Chavez met with doctors to discuss his desire to get Superman’s abs.
