The G-Unit crew added a new member as 50 Cent announced that singer and actor Rotimi Akinosho has joined the clique. The New Jersey native stars in the second season of the Starz show Power, alongside 50, who also produces the hit program.
After the announcement, Rotimi dropped an updated version of his 2014 track “Lotto,” which now boasts 50 Cent kicking off the opening verse. Upon its release, the track jumped to No. 1 on the real-time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart.
The feat continues a recent run for 50 Cent, who also topped the chart as a guest on Elle Varner’s “Birthday” in early June.
