Ronaldo Sets New Champions League record!!

Real Madrid super star Cristiano Ronaldo may console himself with the fact that he broke a new record, one previously held by rival and Barcelona star Lionel Messi despite Madrid losing 2-1 in Turin against Juventus in the semi final first leg clash.

The 30-year-old who scored Real Madrid only goal of the night, surpassed the 27-year-old Argentine 'Lionel Messi" as the Champions League’s all-time leading scorer, netting his 76th goal in the Champions league.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi is currently on 75 goals, while Real Madrid legend and former Champions league record holder for most goals " Raul"  is currently third  with 71 goals.
