Muhammadu Buhari Sworn-In As President of Nigeria

At exactly 10.55AM, today, History was made in Nigeria as the new President, Muhammadu Buhari,was sworn in.



The event is ongoing at the Eagles Square in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory.

Past Nigerian leaders as well as other world leaders converged on the Federal Capital Territory to witness the inauguration.

Moments before this, Prof Yemi Osinbajo was invited to the podium to be sworn-in as Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at about 10:40AM.

This is the biggest event to hold in Nigeria in 2015.
