Chelsea defender Filipe Luis is heading back to Atletico Madrid less than a year after leaving Spain for Englan.
The full back joined Jose Mourinho’s side in 2014 for a fee in the region of 20 million euros after winning La Liga with Atletico Madrid and rejecting a new long-term contract.
However, after a year in England, the Brazilian international is eager for a move back to spain.
Atletico Madrid Coach Diego Simeone will be pleased to splash 15 million euros to bring the defender back to the Spanish capital.
The
Brazilian has impressed in his bit-part role for Chelsea this season,
and is second choice left back, with Cesar Azpilicueta Jose Mourinho's
first choice.
Mourinho
will be sad to see him go, with speculation mounting in England that
the Portuguese will turn his attentions to West Ham’s Aaron Creswell as a
replacement.
